Director Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, starring Sushant Singh Rajput as India’s World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will hit the screens on September 2, 2016. Sushant, who underwent rigorous training as well as a makeover to essay Dhoni, took to Twitter to announce the release date of the film.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, which has been shot extensively in Ranchi also features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan singh. One-film-old actress Kiara Advani will be portraying Dhoni’s wife Sakshi. IANS
