No conclusion can be drawn on the basis of the CD shown.” Yadav also claimed that this was an action to malign AAP’s clean and corruption-free image. He added that if any of its leaders is found guilty then he or she will be punished and will not be allowed to contest elections. “Anuranjan Jha has submitted the CD to EC. If the Election Commission finds anyone guilty then he or she will be withdrawn,” Yadav said and appealed to the commission to conduct an investigation within the next 48 hours to find out the truth. The sting operation showed top leaders including Shazia Ilmi ready to accept funds without proper background verification. However, Yadav said that action will not be taken against the candidates on the basis of the sting operation adding that AAP has not accepted Shazia Ilmi’s offer to resign.
