The Shiv Sena has reportedly shot off a letter to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to take a decision on the pending proposal to name the press box at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after their party’s founder Bal Thackeray. The letter, written by Sena activist Milind Narvekar, who is also party chief Uddhav Thackeray’s personal secretary has written pointing out that the decision on naming the press box has still not been taken. The Sena is pushing for a decision on the matter by 14 May when the association is expected to meet. The MCA’s managing committee is expected to take the final call on the matter, Narvekar has asked the MCA to communicate their decision at the earliest,
