Shashi Tharoor's Twitter account hacked, bizarre tweets sent to Pak columnist

This evening a curious set of tweets by the normally diplomatic Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor caught the attention of Twitterati and the minister later clarified that his Twitter account has been hacked.

All the tweets were bizarrely enough directed at Pakistani Columnist Mehr Tarar, who was understandably surprised by the sudden attention from the minister on Twitter.



After a set of bizarre tweets, Tharoor tweeted:

Here are the tweets that emerged from the minister's account that had many RT'ing it and gave him many more followers:

@mehrtarar I love you, Shashi Tharoor. And I go while in love with you, irrevocably, irreversibly, hamesha. Bleeding, but always your Mehr,

@mehrtarar sadly my wife @sptvrock who gave up everything for me found out about my affair with u Mehr

Shashi. I'm not crying any more. I'm not falling to pieces. I'm more lucid than ever. How little I knew you became visible to me.@mehrtarar

@mehartarar says if you don't end me the bbms by the time I wake up, I will get your message loud and louder. That is @sptvrock 's bbms

You unfollowed me. You don't RT me and you don't answer me on twitter. I can live with your favourites. I have your personal validation

Meanwhile the Pakistani columnist was understanably perturbed over the tweets and replied:

It turns out his wife, Sunanda Tharoor's account may also have been hacked and a pretty bizarre tweet came out of that account as well:
