Saradha TC MP Kunal Ghosh summoned for questioning again

Kolkata: Dissident Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh was summoned again today by the Bidhanagar police for questioning in connection with the Saradha chitfund scam case. Ghosh, who had on a number of occasions earlier also been summoned by the Bidhannagar Commissionerate, later told reporters, “I am not involved in chit fund. I am not part of those who had taken the benefits. [caption id=“attachment_1243167” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Saradha group. PTI[/caption] “As I have said earlier, I will fully cooperate with the authorities whenever I am called. But those involved should also be called,” Ghosh said. The MP, who was the Saradha Media Group CEO, had earlier threatened revelations if he was arrested in the chitfund case. Ghosh was suspended from the party on September 28 for anti-party activities. The scam, in which lakhs of investors were duped, came to light in April when group chairman Sudipta Sen was arrested along with two others from Sonmarg in Jammu and Kashmir in the same month.
