The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled Karnatake Excise Minister MP Renukacharya for breaching discipline. A

says that new BJP president Prahlad Joshi wrote in a letter to Renukacharya: “You have been expelled from the primary membership of the BJP for a period of six years.” [caption id=“attachment_676758” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]
The BJP has taken action against Renukacharya. Reuters[/caption] The decision was taken after Renukacharya criticised senior party leaders and comes shortly after his allegations against former Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda. Renukacharya alleged that he gave money to Gowda when he was the CM and even before that, when he was an MP. Renukacharya hasn’t responded to the action taken against him, but will make an announcement on Friday. He is expected to join the Karnataka Janata party (KJP), rejoining his mentor and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.
