Renowned astrologer predicts Arvind Kejriwal will disappear by Jan 2017 and AAP will collapse

It seems AAP is going nowhere but down. Apart from the bitter infighting within the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal’s own party members are doing sting operations on him while others are accusing him of dictatorial tendencies, and to make matters worse, a renowned astrologer has now predicted that AAP will collapse by 2017. [caption id=“attachment_2179849” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. PTI Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. PTI[/caption] “The party will collapse by January 2017, and there will be a vertical split before June 15 this year. There is a possibility of another faction of the party being launched. Arvind Kejriwal will disappear by 2017, and there will be a big revolt against him on Delhi’s streets for not fulfilling the promises he made. Kejriwal may even get physically assaulted. It will be like the Battle of Waterloo for him,” DNA quoted astrologer Sushil Chaturvedi as saying. The same astrologer had predicted in December 2013 that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would either witness infighting or withdrawal of support by the Congress. In fact he even predicted the assassinations of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, the divorce of Prince Charles and Lady Diana and the BJP’s coming to power at the Centre in February 1996, and his clientele include Mukesh and Anil Ambani, Raj Kapoor and Ramkrishna Bajaj, and others from the world of film and business, according to this Times of India report. Chaturvedi’s prediction comes as AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were last week expelled from the National Executive (NE) for allegedly “backstabbing” and “hatching conspiraces” against the party, according to PTI. At an “emergency” NE meeting in New Delhi, the party also removed Admiral Ramdas, a former navy chief, as internal Lokpal and set up a new Lokpal panel. “It is with great surprise and sadness that I heard today from a reporter that the Aam Aadmi Party no longer requires my services as its internal Lokpal. Various media reports have subsequently confirmed this news…I am disappointed that the leadership of the party did not… inform me first before making this decision public,” Ramdas said in a statement. Ever since Arvind Kejriwal was sworn-in as the Delhi CM in February after AAP’s landslide victory in the Delhi polls, Yadav and Bhushan have made statements against him, alleging that his dictatorial tendencies were stifling internal democracy and transparency in the party. The two leaders on Sunday termed their sacking from the party’s national executive a “farce and illegal”, saying they might seek legal recourse. They also hinted at floating another party if required, claiming the support of a big section of AAP workers. The nearly month-long war between Kejriwal and the two leaders ended with a showdown on Saturday with the two founder-members being ousted in a 247-8 vote at the 311-member NC meet that was marred by chaos, charges and counter charges. On the other hand, Kejriwal alleged that it was Yadav and Bhushan who had backstabbed him and the party and constantly worked against AAP. “When the whole Delhi stood behind us, some friends of ours cheated us. I am saying this with a heavy heart that when the whole of Delhi was with us, some friends backstabbed us,” he said in a speech at the National Council on Sunday. (With inputs from PTI)
