Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha calls off bandh
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), which declared Ranchi bandh today, withdrew the call at the last minute so that UPSC examination candidates were not inconvenienced.

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), which declared Ranchi bandh today, withdrew the call at the last minute so that UPSC examination candidates were not inconvenienced.
"The bandh call has been withdrawn in view of the UPSC examination," JMM General Secretary Suprio Bhattacharya said here today.
He, however, said the party is observing "black day" today in protest against the heckling of Chief Minister Hemant Soren when he was speaking in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday at a function in Dhurwa here.
