The Congress party released a booklet on Monday–“25 U-turns of the government in 180 days”. While launching the book, spokesperson Ajay Maken accused the Narendra Modi government at the Centre of making many U-turns during its six months in power and claims it is counting. “This government will be known as the U-turn government,” Maken said releasing the 30-page booklet titled “chhe mahine paar, U-turn sarkar” (Six months after,a U-turn sarkar). Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement about a land swapping deal with Bangladesh to stop infiltration, Maken said, “BJP has always opposed the Bangladeshi influx issue when the Congress was in power, but now they have taken a U-turn on the same issue.” Maken also raised the issue of black money. He said, “As promised before the elections, no black money has been brought back from Swiss banks. We are also waiting for the time when Rs 15 lakh will be credited to our accounts.”
