PTI[/caption] “Exodus of Hindus from Kairana is a result of pseudo-secularism and appeasement policies pursued by different governments in UP…Because of this, the population of Hindus which was 68 percent has come down to 8 percent,” he alleged. The Gorakhpur MP was talking to media persons on the sidelines of a programme in Pratapgarh. On his name being mentioned as BJP’s chief ministerial candidate in the state, he said he was not in the race for any post but was working as a mission. Asked about the Ram mandir issue, he said it was a matter of faith for all Hindus.
