Lucknow: Brisk polling was going on in 11 seats in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, with over 58.86 percent polling recorded till 5 pm to decide the fate of 150 candidates.

According to sources at the EC, Nagina witnessed 61.98 percent polling while Moradabad and Rampur recorded 61.22 percent and 69.32 percent polling respectively.

Sambhal recorded 56.8 percent polling, Amroha 52.12 percent, Badaun 54.6 percent, Aonla 56.8 percent, Bareilly 60 percent, Pilibhit 57.2, Shahjahanpur 55.5 percent and Kheri 61.64 percent.
In this phase, polling was taking place in Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Nagina, Aonla and Kheri.

Maneka Gandhi, Santosh Gangwar, Saleem Sherwani and Begum Noor Bano are among the prominent candidates who are in the fray from UP in the second phase.
