There are some on twitter who treat the exit polls and post-poll surveys as gospel. “With UP appearing almost a done deal for the SP, the punters are now turning to Punjab and Uttarakhand to decide the fate of Congress & BJP,” says @SandipGhose. @ANINews gives us this not-so-useful update. “Election results to be declared tday for UP: 403 seats, Uttarakhand:70 seats, Punjab:117 seats, Goa:40 seats, Manipur:60 seats.” OK.
