Earlier, search teams looking for traces of the chopper in West Kameng district of the state had drawn a blank. Khandu was on his way from Tawang to Itanagar on 30 April when his chopper became untraceable. It made the last communication while flying over the Sela Pass along the Chinese border. It was 20 minutes after the take off. As many as 3,000 personnel from Army, ITBP and SSB are busy in the search operation along with the state police, media reports quoting defence sources said. Meanwhile, Bhutan has allowed Indian personnel to enter its territory for their search operation. The new location is nearly two km inside Bhutan.
