Janata Dal (United) party chief Sharad Yadav on Sunday said that there is no rift within the party and justified his comments slamming Nitish Kumar claiming it had been taken out of the context. Yadav said that his comments could be understood correctly only in context of his entire speech. Yadav also said: “Eradicating caste politics is the only way. PTI[/caption] Yadav also took on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi saying that the that the ‘Modi-tsunami’ is not good news. “The BJP is calling it a Modi tsunami but a tsunami usually destroys everything,” Yadav charged. “This tsunami will destroy them and us too,” he added. Yesterday, Yadav had accused Nitish of destroying Bihar by playing caste politics. Yadav had made the comments while addressing a rally in Muzaffarpur. “Both (Nitish and Lalu) have pursued the politics of caste. I am taking responsibility for the pathetic condition of the state because I helped Lalu and Nitish in governing Bihar,” Yadav told a gathering in Muzaffarpur during campaigning for Madhepura from where he is contesting. “It is sad but both of them believe in caste-based politics,” Yadav had said.
Yadav said that his comments could be understood correctly only in context of his entire speech. Yadav also said that Nitish was trying to end caste politics.
