Mulayam should be sent to a mental hospital: Mayawati on his 'shrimati' remark

BSP chief Mayawati hit out at Mulayam Singh for his comments on her marital status saying the Samajwadi Party chief should be sent to a mental hospital. Zee News quoted Mayawati as saying, “He insulted me as a women, Mulayam has lost his mental balance. Reuters[/caption] Mulayam, had, on Wednesday, said that he was confused about how to address Mayawati. Times of India reported that at a rally in Faizabad, Mulayam had said “Unko kya kahen yeh samajh mein nahi aata … Shrimati kahen, kunwari beti ya beahenji kahen (I am at a loss on how to address her .. whether to address her as shrimati, kunwari or behenji)”. Mulayam’s remark was seen as directed at Mayawati as it came soon after he referred to BSP founder Kanshiram. A furious Mayawati also demanded that the Election Commission take action against Mulayam. She made the remarks during during a press conference in Lucknow.
