Indian Constitution is being insulted. Democracy is being assaulted,” he said. Sharma said all party leaders including Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi have been “arrested”. “We are protesting the assault on democracy by this government,” he said. Under attack over AgustaWestland issue, a combative Sonia Gandhi, while addressing the protest march, hit back at the Modi government saying it should “not try to frighten” Congress and that life has taught her “to fight on”. She, Rahul Gandhi and other top party leaders later courted arrest after they were stopped from marching to Parliament.
