The BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate is notoriously difficult to catch for media interviews but has backed out of an interaction on Facebook Talks Live at the last minute after organisers said he laid down conditions they couldn’t fulfill. Ibnlive quoted a NewsLaundry statement as saying: [caption id=“attachment_1417235” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Narendra Modi. Agencies.[/caption] Just two days before his interaction, Mr Modi laid down some conditions which we cannot fulfil. Mr Modi then decided to cancel. He is best placed to state the reasons. Modi was to interact on Facebook this evening and now the first participant is to be Arvind Kejriwal tomorrow. The organisers said that they had received thousands of questions since the event was announced. The BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate has not offered any explanation for why he backed out. Newslaundry has said that a detailed report on the circumstances leading to the cancellation will be revealed next week.
