Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Opposition leaders LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley over missing Coalgate files tonight. The PM also called up Advani on the phone and assured him that the government will do its best to find the missing coal files, reports CNN-IBN . Earlier in the day, the Singh had said in the Rajya Sabha, “I would like to emphasise that the government is making all efforts to locate the papers requisitioned by the CBI and, at this stage, it would be premature to say that some papers are indeed missing.” The Opposition was upset with Singh over the statement and BJP leaders said they wanted clarifications from the Prime Minister. The Opposition accused the Prime Minister of being economical with the truth. [caption id=“attachment_1082743” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Manmohan Singh is seen in this file photo.
