Kolkata: In yet another indication of growing bonhomie among politicians opposed to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the country, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has invited her Bihar and Delhi counterparts Nitish Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal for an forthcoming business summit. “Both Kejriwal and Nitish Kumar have been invited for the Bengal Global Business Summit, beginning on 7 January,” Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member and spokesperson Derek O’Brien said on Monday. The move is seen as yet another effort by Banerjee to form a federal front she has been advocating. In September, Banerjee attended Kejriwal’s ambitious Chief Ministers’ Conclave on cooperative federalism in New Delhi.
