Malda violence: BJP delegation led by Vijayvargiya to meet Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: A BJP delegation, headed by party general secretary and in-charge of West Bengal Kailash Vijayavargiya, will meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday evening over West Bengal's Malda violence.

The BJP leaders would seek investigation by an appropriate agency into the violence in Kaliachak on 3 January in which a mob set afire a police station and a dozen-odd vehicles.

The BJP on Monday had said the Malda violence was a "planned action and not a communal reaction".
