Intensifying its attack against the BJP and Congress, specifically Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, the Aam Aadmi Party today shot off an open letter to the BJP’s Prime Minister candidate questioning his stand on Reliance Industries and gas pricing. In the open letter to Modi, the Arvind Kejriwal-led political party has raised three questions regarding the BJP prime ministerial candidate’s stand on the gas price hike that it alleges favours Reliance. Reading out the letter at a press conference in Delhi’s Constitution Club, Kejriwal accused BJP and Congress of looting natural resources. “The gas which should not be priced more that $1.5 per unit is being sold at $8. The BJP and Congress together is overseeing the process,” Kejriwal said. [caption id=“attachment_1402149” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Kejriwal has accused Modi of receiving funds from RIL. If the BJP government comes to power whether it will sell the gas at $4 a unit or it will retain the price fixed by the UPA, which is $8 per unit. 2. What is the relation Narendra Modi and his party shares with Mukesh Ambani 3. What is the cost of Modi’s entire entire election campaign and what is the source of that money The party has announced that it is going to send an open letter to Rahul Gandhi tomorrow, which will also ask him similar questions. The AAP has said claimed that it’s very important to raise these questions with the Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP. “We sent an open letter to the PM Manmohan Singh also, which he never replied to and it’s out in the open that he cannot afford to reply to our letter. So the answer is for the people to read answers from his silence,” Sanjay Singh, a senior leader of the AAP, said. “If Modi also does not reply, the truth will be in open,” he added. The party claimed it will make 10 crore copies of these letters in various regional languages and will circulate it across the country over next few days. The AAP also pointed out that it had registered an FIR against Ambani when it was in power in Delhi over the gas pricing issue.
