J&K polls: Modi to campaign in third phase on 8 December

Jammu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign in Srinagar and Samba on 8 December for third phase of the five-stage assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. “The prime minister will campaign on 8 December for the candidates in the third phase of elections,” BJP spokesperson Arun Gupta said.[caption id=“attachment_1834769” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PTI [/caption] He said the prime minister will address two rallies in Srinagar summer capital and Raya Morh in Samba border district on 8 December. Earlier, Modi had campaigned for the party candidates in the first phase of five-stage elections in Kishtwar on 22 November and in second phase in Udhampur and Poonch on 28 November. The third phase polling in Jammu and Kashmir will take place on 9 December for 16 constituencies. BJP is contesting all the 87 assembly seats in the state without forging alliances with any political party. PTI
