Mehbooba also named Vijaya Dogra Katoch as the new president of the women's wing while Waheed Parra will continue as youth president, he said.

Aijaz Mir and Yawar Mir, the two young faces of the party, have been nominated as general secretaries of the youth wing, he said.

The PDP chief had dissolved the party a day before taking oath as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on 4 April.
