Jharkhand results: CM Hemant Soren leads over BJP rival, former CM Koda trails

Ranchi: Former Chief Minister Madhu Koda (Jai Bharat Samanta Party) is trailing by 3000 votes from his nearest JMM rival Niral Purty from Majhgaon (ST) after the first round of counting. Chief Minister Hemant Soren (JMM) is leading by 94 votes over his nearest BJP rival Hemlal Murmu from Barhait. Anil Murmu (JMM) is leading by over 2000 votes over his nearest BJP rival Simon Marandi from Litipara (ST). Ranjit Kumar Tiwari (BJP) leading by 2005 votes over his nearest Congress rival and former Assembly speaker Alamgir Alam from Pakur. Stephen Marandi (JMM) leading by 428 votes over his nearest BJP rival Devidhan Tudu from Maheshpur (ST) seat after the completion of the first round. Ramchandra Singh (RJD) leading by 2928 votes over his nearest BJP rival Harikrishn Singh from Manika. Jiga Susaran Horo (JMM) leading by over 700 votes over his BJP rival Dinesh Oraon from Sesai (ST). Shashibhusan Samad (JMM) leading by 5000 votes over his nearest BJP rival Navami Oraon from Chakradharpur. PTI
