Is AAP's Shazia the latest entrant to Azam-Amit hall of shame?

Here is a list of all the politicians that we think deserve to make the communal hall of shame, along with some of the statements that put them there:

Is AAP's Shazia the latest entrant to Azam-Amit hall of shame?

If the Lok Sabha elections 2014 could be described in one word, it would likely be communal. Blame it on the Muzaffarnagar riots in Uttar Pradesh. Blame it on Modi. Blame it on the sickular libtards. Blame it on the boogie-woogie for all we care. Whatever the reason, the ugly truth is that we are in the midst of an election where polarisation rather than policy has become the name of the game. Our netas on the campaign trail have only served to fuel the proverbial fires - and not by accident either. In the scramble for votes, you gotta do whatcha gotta do. [caption id=“attachment_1492657” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Ilmi is now part of a hallowed hall of 'shame'](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Shazia-ilmi_Firstpost1.jpg) Ilmi is now a candidate for the communal hall of ‘shame’[/caption] The beleaguered Election Commission has had its work cut out, rushing around asking for rally tapes, censuring politician after politician but to seemingly no avail. The latest entrant on this list is AAP’s Shazia Ilmi who said, “Muslims are not communal. They have become too secular. This time they should be communal. They should think for themselves. Muslims have become political slaves of the Congress, BJP and SP.” She did not advocate any kind of ‘badla’ or violence but her words were no less shameless in trying to capitalise on an already polarised electorate. It certainly makes her a candidate for the communalism hall of shame, which includes a number of all-star zeroes. Here then are the biggest names who made this exclusive list and the statements that put them there: Azam Khan (Samajwadi Party) “You (Muslims) constitute one fifth of the population. You can’t be the badshah but no one could become badshah without your blessings. Modi calls us, this one fifth of the population, kutte ka pilla (puppy). Kya electronic media ek hatyare ko badshah banayega? (will the electronic media make this murderer an emperor)". “Inteqaam ki aag ko apne dil me jagaye rakho. Us se inteqaam lo jo tumhe kutte ka pilla kehta hai. Pehle zaalim se zulm ka badla lena hai, cycle par button daba kar. Hindustan ko kasai ke haath nahi doge. Secular rakhoge (Keep the fire of revenge aflame in your heart. Take revenge against the one who calls you a puppy. First you must take revenge by pressing the button against the symbol of the cycle. Don’t give India into the hands of a butcher. You have to ensure the India remains secular). Amit Shah (BJP): “This election is about voting out the government that protects and gives compensation to those who killed Jats. It is about badla (revenge) and protecting izzat (honour). Batons, guns and swords belong to a bygone era. These days you take revenge by pressing the button.” Imran Masood (Congress): “If Modi tries to make Uttar Pradesh into Gujarat, then we will chop him into tiny pieces…I am not scared of getting killed or attacking someone. I will fight against Modi. He thinks UP is Gujarat. Only four percent Muslims are there in Gujarat while there are 42 percent Muslims in UP,” Ramdas Kadam (Shiv Sena) “These Muslims riot against the police and burnt their vehicles. They vandalised the statues of our martyrs. These Muslims molest our women policemen…I am sure that Narendra Modi will ensure that such acts do not go unpunished” Giriraj Singh (BJP) “Those opposing Narendra Modi are looking at Pakistan, and such people will have place in Pakistan and not in India” Praveen Togadia (VHP) “If he (Muslim owner of a home in a Hindu area) does not relent, go with stones, tyres and tomatoes to his office. There is nothing wrong in it. Killers of Rajiv Gandhi have not been hanged … there is nothing to fear and the case will go on” If Ilmi wants to be part of this august company, she will have to do a lot better than just throwing the C-word around.
