"National security is going through turbulent times in different facets with respect to China border," Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi told reporters at a press conference here.

"Over 120 incursions have occurred along the border with China and unfortunately the government is caught napping," he said.

The Congress leader's remarks came in the wake of the Indian and Chinese troops face-off at Doka La, a disputed territory between China and Bhutan.

Singhvi also took a dig at the central government for not having a full-time defence minister.
