Kolkata: Looking to connect with the masses, especially the youth, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee will interact directly with netizens on Facebook this Wednesday.
Banerjee will be live on the social networking site on 13 April from 8.30 PM, the party said in a statement.
According to a senior party leader, Banerjee will be online for around half an hour and will take direct questions and will instantly reply to them.
"Mamatadi has this unique skill of communication from roadshows, street corner meetings, big rallies to Facebook and Twitter. She has this unique skill of communicating with the masses," TMC national spokesperson Derek O' Brien said.
Banerjee is a regular user of Facebook and her page has over 16 lakh likes. She also has over 2.6 lakh followers on Twitter.

Sajal Ghosh, the chief election agent of the saffron party's candidate for the constituency, Priyanka Tibrewal, wrote to the EC, raising objections to Banerjee's declaration.
TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has to win this by-poll to retain her chief minister's post. The bypolls are on 30 September while votes will be counted on 3 October
The second edition of the Duare Sarkar (government at doorsteps) programme was launched on 16 August and will continue till 15 September
