Chandigarh: BJP, which fought the electoral battle for the first time on its own in Haryana, was today leading over its rivals Indian National Lok Dal and Congress as per initial trends available. BJP is currently leading in 44 seats followed by INLD on 16 seats, and Congress on 15 seats. Haryana Minister Mahender Partap Singh of Congress is trailing behind Seema Trikha of BJP from Badhkal seat while another Minister Geeta Bhukkal is leading over her nearest rival Sadu Ram of INLD.
