Ghulam Nabi Azad named Congress party leader in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: The Congress on Sunday named Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma as leader and deputy leader, respectively, of the party in the Rajya Sabha. A statement issued by party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said the decision was taken by the Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi “exercising her authorisation by the Congress party in parliament”.
