The Karnataka state assembly polls, for which voting is underway, is expected to witness a four-way contest among the Congress, the BJP, the Janata Dal (Secular) and the KJP of BS Yeddyurappa. The BSR Congress of B Sriramulu too is a significant other in the fray. Despite fairly low voter turnout in the state, political leaders are all expressing confidence that they will emerge victorious in the polls. BJP has done a lot of development and other work in Karnataka. Please reject the corrupt Congress and re-elect the BJP to power”. BS Yeddyurappa, Leader Karnataka Janata Party: “Here I will get absolute majority. We will form the government. We will be the single largest party in the polls”. Uma Bharti, BJP Vice President: “There are a number of reasons for my saying that the BJP will win the elections and the most prominent among them is the good work done by the government here”
