The Janata Dal (U) Leader Sharad Yadav created headlines when he declared in the  Rajya Sabha on Thursday that “In the entire country there are more saanvle (dark skinned) men. The women of south are beautiful, their bodies…their skin …We don’t see it here. They know dance." PTI image[/caption] Believe it or not this was Sharad Yadav’s idea of trying to describe the increase of Foreign Direct Investment in the insurance bill from 26% to 49%. Some of the male MPs in the house laughed it off, while the women parliamentarians were dumb struck byhis comments. Leslee Udwin, the filmmaker who made the controversial documentary ‘India’s Daughter’ based on Delhi gang rape victim Nirbhaya also got a special mention by Yadav. “She must have got permissions easily because she is white. All doors open for fair-skinned women,” he added. Here are some of the tweets:
