Hailing the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) landslide victory in the Assembly elections 2023 in three states - Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, the win of the party “proved that people rejected caste politics and want development.” ‘People want double-engine government’ Thakur called the victory “special” and said people trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “This victory is historic,” he added. “People want ‘double engine’ government. People witnessed ‘double engine’ government in Madhya Pradesh and at the national level, and hence this bumper victory,” Thakur said.
