Don't vote for 'backstabber' AAP, pick Kiran Bedi led BJP govt: Modi tells Delhi voters

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday asked the people of Delhi to vote for a BJP government as it can work in tandem with the centre. “Elect a government with whom I can work shoulder to shoulder towards making a positive difference in your lives,” Modi said at a rally in east Delhi’s Karkardooma. While on one hand he praised Kiran Bedi for her long career in Indian police and her ability to deal with corruption, on the other, Modi trashed AAP and warned Delhi voters to not vote ’the betrayers’. The Prime Minister made four key points during his address to Delhi voters, here they are: [caption id=“attachment_2073555” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![PTI](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Modi_380PTI11.jpg) PTI[/caption] 1. Don’t vote for AAP: Making an indirect attack on the Aam Aadmi Party, Modi said: “People can make a mistake once, but not again and again. One year back, Delhi people had voted with dreams.” “Last year, those whom you people voted, back-stabbed you and shattered your dreams,” the prime minister said. “Delhi won’t vote for betrayers,” he added. 2. International limelight on Delhi elections:  Modi said Delhi election is very crucial for India’s reputation. The entire world is watching the Delhi polls, said the prime minister. “If India needs to be introduced to the world, then Delhi is the best place to showcase. All events in the capital have an imprint on not only the country but the entire world. It represents India,” he added. 3. Praising Kiran Bedi for her accomplishments: The prime minister heaped praises for Kiran Bedi. “Delhi needs a person who can lead from the front. Kiran Bedi is the right person for the job and for Delhi,” he said. 4. Pakka Makan will replace slums by 75th Independence Day of India: Modi spoke about BJP’s aim to dedicate themselves to the service of poor. “By the time we celebrate the 75th year of Independent India, we will ensure that all slums are replaced by cemented houses,” he said.
