Digvijaya accepts being in a relationship with tv anchor Amrita Rai

Congress general secretary and l’enfant terrible Digvijaya Singh has made headlines for many acerbic things he’s had to say about rivals. Today, however, he may make them for openly admitting to being in a relationship with a television news channel anchor. Singh, whose wife passed away in February 2013, has been accused of being in a relationship with married Rajya Sabha television anchor Amrita Rai. But over the last few days there have been a couple of videos that prompted speculation about Singh’s relationship with Rai. There’s this video , which shows Singh with a woman that looked like Rai performing a puja together and this video which showed the duo purportedly posing for photos together. PTI[/caption] However, Singh took to Twitter today to say that he had no hesitation in admitting to his relationship with Rai and that she had already filed for divorce. He also said that he would formalise the relationship once the divorce is decided but asked people to stop encroaching into their private lives:
