Did you know Narendra Modi has a brother?

Today we found out that Narendra Modi has a brother. The Indian Express has tracked down Somabhai Modi, who tells us that Modi is fearless. Modi comes across from the interview as someone who really has little to do with his family. The brother hasn’t seen Modi since he left home at the age of 16. “He left home at the age of 16 and has never called us. We invite him to all family functions but he did not even attend the weddings of his siblings. The last time I met him was at a public event around two-and-a-half months ago.” [caption id=“attachment_544554” align=“alignright” width=“380”] Narendra Modi seems to have little to do with his family.[/caption]His brother explains that this detachment could be because of his RSS training. The Indian Express has also asked him about his “dictatorial style” and the criticism he faces about being communal. Here his brother says that friends who visited Kashmir told him that people there believe that he might actually solve the Kashmir problem. The interview is especially interesting for it profiles a person who knew him so well once, and so little now. Somabhai Modi, knows as much about his brother now, as we do.
