New Delhi: A day after the Assembly elections in Delhi, where all exit polls projected a majority for Aam Aadmi Party, BJP will hold a review meeting this evening to discuss the political situation in Delhi.
Delhi BJP in-charge Prabhat Jha, party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, state party chief Satish Upadhyay, all candidates and other leaders will be present for the meeting.
“The party has called a review meeting to discuss political situation in the national capital. At the meeting, leaders will also hold deliberations on the results of all exit polls,” said a senior BJP leader.
He also said that the party rejected the exit poll surveys and maintained that they will be proven wrong on 10 February, the day of the counting of votes.
The BJP leader also said that the party is expecting more than 34 seats in the elections and will form its government in Delhi.
The intensely contested electoral battle in the national capital yesterday culminated with a record turnout of 67.14 per cent voters exercising their franchise, the highest in the history of Delhi Assembly polls.
