Delhi elections: 'Dr Saab' relaxes after voting, says BJP far ahead

He believes his party has done enough to win this election and after going early to vote, the BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate Harsh Vardhan is now planning to stay at home for the rest of the day. However, it won’t be a restful day for him and he will be waiting for the first wave of reports from his constituency. At the doctor’s home there is calm, given the Krishna Nagar constituency where he is contesting has voted him to victory for the last 20 years. It is the Congress and the AAP who are contesting for the second position. Nobody can make a dent in our vote bank.” He also requested the people to come out in large numbers and vote. “If a tribal state like Chhattisgarh can get 74.77 voting percentage then why cannot Delhi have 80 percent voters turnout? When people here are all literate,” said Harsh Vardhan. Most of the voters in the constituency also seemed more than happy to oblige ‘Dr. Saab’, as the BJP’s candidate is known. However, the party was taking no chances and volunteers were working to ensure people stepped out to cast their vote. with inputs from IANS
