#CYSSselfie trends on Twitter as AAP welcomes Delhi Univ students with selfie campaign

In a move to reach out to the masses, something that Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party prides itself on, the youth wing of the party called Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS), welcomed the incoming students of Delhi University with a selfie campaign. Image Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] The campaign saw senior AAP leaders greet the new students and clicking selfies with them which created quite a buzz on Twitter with #CYSSselfie and Delhi University trending for a good part of the day. According to a press release on the party’s website, senior party members and spokespersons such as Alka Lamba, Raghav Chadha, Adarsh Shastri and Raghu Ram visited Ramjas College, Hindu College, Miranda College, Sri Venkateshwara college among others. The Delhi University, one of the biggest in the country, opened its doors to a fresh batch of students on Monday. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also took to twitter to wish the new DU students, reminiscing about his college days 30 years back. It is said that the CYSS is set to contest the DU elections and this exercise seems like a foundation for the party’s campaign.
