New Delhi: The Congress on Sunday stepped up its attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his frequent visits abroad, saying while five lakh people were affected by floods in Assam, he was having a “good vacation”.
“When diplomatic visits are a good vacation. About 5 lakh people affected by the raging Brahmaputra in Assam but little relief from State or Central govt as they are mentally in Israel (sic),” Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi tweeted.

Commenting on recent CBI and ED raids on RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his family members, Singhvi said, while the law taking its own course is not an issue, the action smacks of “vendetta and political manipulation”.
