PTI[/caption] “BJP will emerge victorious in the 2018 state assembly elections and we are targeting 180-plus seats this time. Lotus will bloom in the state once again, as the party has worked for overall development of the state,” he said. Flaying the opposition Congress, the state BJP chief said while the BJP and its members had been working day and night for the well-being of the state, they were busy making false statements. Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot had been misleading people by citing wrong figures in public, he said. Parnami said such organisational meetings would be called once in every two months. “In this meeting, we evaluated the works done in last two months in the state and also planned a strategy to pursue progressive works in the coming months.” The meeting reviewed several ambitious projects such as Tiranga Yatra, Man ki Baat and Mandal Pravas, among others. V Satish, the BJP’s national joint general secretary (organisation), said the party would work hard and come out with flying colours in the coming elections. Speaking on the occasion, state general secretary (organisation), A Chandrashekhar, said that all district unit chiefs would chalk out a plan to visit people from all sections of the society and apprise them of the plans and policies of the party. BJP’s state general secretary Bhajanlal Sharma and district presidents, state office-bearers also attended the meeting.
