Howrah, West Bengal: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today expressed hope that the youth of the country would be inspired by the ideas of Swami Vivekananda and take the nation to great heights.
“I am confident that the youth of the nation will make the country proud by making it ‘Jagatguru’ following the ideas of Swami Vivekananda,” Modi told reporters after paying a visit to the Belur Math here.

Recalling his early days, Modi said, “I used to visit the Math founded by Swami Vivekananda frequently during my teenage (years) and I had received a lot of love and affection from Swami Athwasthananda”.
“However, this is my first visit to the Math after I have become chief minister,” he said.
