Chhattisgarh governor issues poll notification for first phase

Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt today issed poll notification allowing the filing of nominations for the first phase of the two-phase polls in the state on 11 and 19 November.[caption id=“attachment_1180631” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Preparing for polls. Reuters[/caption] The last date of filing of nominations for the first phase is 26 October. The last date of withdrawal of candidature for the first phase is 28 October. In the first phase of polls on 11 November, 18 assembly constituencies will go for polls. The remaining 72 constituencies will vote on 19 November after the process of notification starts on 25 October. The counting of votes is scheduled on 8 December.
