Centre must disapprove Pak resolution immediately: BJP

New Delhi: BJP on Tuesday termed as “anti-India” the resolution passed by Pakistan National Assembly accusing Indian troops of “unprovoked aggression” on the LoC and extending support to the “struggle” of Kashmiri people and asked the Centre to disapprove of it immediately. “Pakistan’s resolution in the National Assembly is anti-India…The government of India must disapprove immediately the resolution passed by the Assembly,” BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said. [caption id=“attachment_1032707” align=“alignleft” width=“400”]  Pakistan on Tuesday moved a resolution condemning ‘unprovoked’ firing along the LoC by India.[/caption] He said the resolution shows that Pakistan’s “whole politics depends on anti-India rhetoric”. Javadekar said ceasefire violations by Pakistan and giving cover to infiltration, ambushing Indian soldiers and instigating separatists to launch anti-India agitations were “absolutely unacceptable”. Pakistan’s National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution accusing Indian troops of “unprovoked aggression” on the LoC and extending support to the “struggle” of the Kashmiri people. The resolution, moved by Science and Technology Minister Zahid Hamid, a senior leader of ruling PML-N, condemned the “unprovoked aggression by Indian military forces across the LoC in recent days” and reiterated that Pakistan “shall continue to extend diplomatic, political and moral support for the just and legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people”.
