Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inducted 21 new ministers into his ministry with four holding cabinet positions, three as ministers of state (independent charge) and the rest as ministers of state. The first reshuffle in Modi’s cabinet raised the strength from 44 to 65 ministers, making it one of India’s most accomplished cabinet to date. The latest additions to India’s topmost executive body make it a multi-faceted one as notable IITians, graduates from Harvard and University of Pennsylvania, a former Bollywood singer, one Olympic Silver medallist and a plumber made the cut.
