Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, has reacted defiantly to being attacked by eggs and a stone, telling his supporters that the BJP and Congress were mistaken if they thought AAP could be silenced with stones. Reacting to the incident, Kejriwal told his supporters: “This means that Jai Kishan (Congress MLA from Sultanpuri Majra) is scared. If the BJP and the Congress think that we will be silenced by stones, they have no idea what we are made of.” “These people are nervous and rattled, ignore them,” Kejriwal said as he continued his address. The eggs and stone did not hit Kejriwal, but fell near the podium from where Kejriwal was addressing. Kejriwal, at the meeting, also made a mention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark asking those who follow anarchism to join Naxals. “The PM attacked me in a recent rally and said Arvind Kejriwal is a Naxal. Am I a Naxal? Should I go to the forest…  This kind of an attack does not suit a PM. Is it right for the BJP to do this?” Kejriwal was quoted as saying by The Indian Express . This is the second attack on the former Delhi chief minister in Sultanpur Majra. While campaigning for Rakhi Birla, AAP’s Lok Sabha candidate for North West Delhi, Kejriwal was hit by an auto driver. The AAP chief was also attacked last month while addressing a rally at Deoli, when he was addressing a jansabha for party candidate Prakash Jarwal, for the second time in the same area. Earlier when he was campaigning in South Delhi for party candidate Devendra Sehrawat, he was attacked at the same place. With PTI inputs
