Bihar hate talk: BJP leader says Nitish is ‘bridegroom no bride wants to marry'

Buxar: In a sarcastic rejoinder to grand secular alliance’s claim of having a ‘dulha’ (bridegroom) in Nitish Kumar, the BJP today said the JD-U leader was going for a second marriage and no bride would like to garland him. “No girl wants to garland a man (Nitish Kumar) going for a second marriage,” BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi told an election rally here. [caption id=“attachment_2461744” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Nitish Kumar/ PTI[/caption] He blamed Kumar for severing 17-year-old ties with BJP in June 2013 opposing Narendra Modi. Sushil Modi’s remark came in response to grand secular alliance leader Lalu Prasad’s oft repeated jibe at BJP that it (the alliance) has a ‘dulha’ (bridegroom) in Kumar but NDA has none. The JD(U), RJD and Congress coalition have named Kumar as its chief ministerial candidate in the Bihar poll. The BJP-led NDA has not named anybody as its nominee for the post and is fighting the poll in the name of Prime Minister Modi. IANS
