Alleged NSUI activists protested outside Bihar Education Minister PK Shahi’s residence in Patna today.
The activists, who were carrying flags of NSUI shouted slogans against the state government’s failure to implement the midday meal scheme effectively in the state.
Television visuals showed activists vandalising the official residence of the minister.
At least 23 children died after consuming midday meals at a school in Saran district of Bihar

On Sunday, the Bihar government suspended an education department official who was responsible for monitoring the midday meal of the school, officials said.
