Just before going to Patiala House court to surrender, he said," We did this because Prashant Bhushan said there should be a referendum on Kashmir. I don’t think Bhushan deserved any other treatment." “Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena is an organisation which also does social work. We always condemn anti-national statements. Anyone who makes statements like these will be attacked by us,” he said.  The president of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena said that they helped the Sikkim victims during earthquake, and is known for doing social work. Bagga said that the group is strongly against corruption and supports the Anna Hazare movement. This was not the only act of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena. Bagga claimed that he had attacked Hurriyat Leader Syed Ali Shah Gilani and activist Arundhati Roy in the past. He denied any connection with BJP, saying he was with the party two years ago and now have no connection with it. “I have no links with the BJP now. I used to be their member once upon a time. I don’t deny I have posters of BJP leaders in my house. But they were put up a year back,” he said. On why he is going to surrender, he candidly said, “We have broken the law. We accept it. So, we are going to surrender.” Watch Video: former member of the BJP Youth movement, Tejinder Singh, distance himself from BJP
