At 88 years, veteran Congress leader ND Tiwari marries Ujjwala Sharma

Veteran Congress leader ND Tiwari has married 65-year-old Ujjwala Sharma, the mother of his biological son Rohit Shekhar, at a function in Lucknow this morning, news agency ANI reported. PTI[/caption] In March this year, Tiwari accepted Rohit as his son after the Delhi High Court ruled that DNA tests proved he (Tiwari) had fathered him. Earlier this month, Ujjwala Sharma had staged a dharna outside the Congress leader’s residence after which he reportedly allowed her to stay with him. Ujjwala staged a dharna in front of Tiwari’s residence at Mall Avenue in Lucknow with her supporters after not being allowed entry by his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Bhawani Dutt Bhatt, who said he did not have permission for that. In a statement issued then, Bhatt said that after the supporters created a ruckus, Hazratganj circle officer, Dinesh Yadav intervened and arranged a meeting with Tiwari who later allowed Ujjwala to live in his residence. Ujjwala was forcing Tiwari into a “live-in relationship” and he had made a complaint at Hazratganj police station regarding this, but no action was taken, Bhatt said after they agreed to live together. https://twitter.com/ANI_news/status/466833964779331585 With PTI inputs
