Assembly elections 2011: Final tally

The results of the assembly elections were along predicted lines. But the real surprise was the margin of victory in the states, barring Kerala. In West Bengal it was a Trinamool sweep. In Tamil Nadu the AIADMK-led combine trounced the DMK with a big margin and in Assam, the support for the Congress was overwhelming.
